In the next part of our annual summary, you can read about our own office building. We'll also tell you about our move, our office design and our production technology and logistics.
The SIMO GROUP has undergone significant development and growth over the past 10 years, resulting in the need for a new, more spacious and modern working environment. We moved our office from Miskolc to the South Industrial Park in Szikszó, where we started preparations at the end of 2023, so that we could welcome 2024 in our new office building.
The new location will enable us to meet our growing needs even better, and the relocation of our office, production and warehousing areas has made our work more practical and efficient. The increased space available will help to keep departments and offices well separated and work more smoothly.
Unlike our previous workspace, we now have two halls. One of the halls is used for the machining of aluminium fibre profiles for our self-developed partitioning systems, and the office for procurement and logistics is also located here. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing technology plays a key role in the high quality of our products and the short lead times for on-site construction. Within the manufacturing process, aluminium profiles that have already been powder coated or anodised are prepared. In our CNC machining centre, we manufacture door jambs and frames to a precision of 0.1 mm, which are then packed with precision.
In another hall, storage is carried out, a complex and constantly changing process that requires a great deal of attention. Our new dedicated hall is a great help in applying our stock management and warehouse management methods with precision, thus minimising our costs. Thanks to the spaciousness of our warehouse, we not only store the materials we have in stock, but also provide intermediate storage for the materials to be delivered for each project.
Our office building also serves as a showroom where you can see our single and double glazed wall systems, as well as our solid and sliding glass doors. In addition to our own products, we also have a demonstration of our smart foil and mobile wall products in operation.
In our meeting room we welcome our current and future partners, as well as those interested in this type of space partitioning.
When designing the new office, we also took care to ensure that the modern infrastructure would ensure the comfort of our employees and contribute to the productivity of our team.
The new location is also a new chapter in the life of our company, giving us the opportunity to focus even more on future growth and new developments.
